The Stabilimenti Fiasconaro project in Castelbuono represents a significant transformation of an existing 1980s industrial structure into a modern, functional space for logistics, warehousing, and administration. Large openings bring natural light deep into the interiors, while skylights on the roof improve both illumination and ventilation. A striking suspended steel bridge connects the highest level of the new office floors, reinforcing continuity and communication between different areas of the complex.

The intervention preserves the original modular concrete framework while enhancing the building’s efficiency and spatial quality through strategic architectural upgrades. A key aspect of the project is the addition of two new multi-level blocks, expanding the facility’s capacity and optimizing its operational flow.
The building’s envelope has been carefully rethought to improve its thermal and energy performance, ensuring greater sustainability while maintaining the industrial character of the original construction. Through this meticulous renovation, Stabilimenti Fiasconaro is now an efficient, contemporary workspace that reflects the growth and innovation of one of Sicily’s most renowned pastry brands.
