Polisi Studio was established in 1982 in the picturesque town of Castelbuono, Sicily, by architect Rosario Polisi. After graduating from the University of Palermo, he honed his craft working with renowned architects Pasquale Culotta and Bibi Leone in Cefalù, infusing his work with a deep respect for local heritage and craftsmanship. Over the decades, Polisi Studio has become a cornerstone of the community, celebrated for its thoughtful integration of tradition and innovation.

In 2020, a new chapter began as the studio embraced a global perspective. Following studies at IIT in Chicago and IAAC in Barcelona, and gaining international experience on prestigious projects such as the Ostrava Concert Hall with Steven Holl and Architecture Acts, Tullio Polisi joined the studio to expand its reach and modernize its approach. Today, Polisi Studio stands at the intersection of tradition and innovation, blending timeless craftsmanship with forward-thinking design. From Sicily to the world, we aim to create architecture that inspires and connects.

Arch. Rosario Polisi

Founder of Polisi Studio (1982), Rosario Polisi is an architect deeply rooted in Sicilian heritage. A graduate of the University of Palermo, he refined his craft with Pasquale Culotta and Bibi Leone, shaping a practice that blends tradition and innovation. Passionate about craftsmanship, he brings meticulous attention to materials and local culture. Outside of architecture, he enjoys playing the piano and nurturing his love for plants and flowers.

Ing. Arch. Tullio Polisi

Tullio Polisi leads Polisi Studio with a forward-thinking approach, merging artisanal tradition with digital innovation. Educated in architecture and engineering, he expanded his expertise at IIT Chicago and IAAC Barcelona, working on international projects like the Ostrava Concert Hall. Always seeking new inspirations, he enjoys running, traveling, and experiencing music festivals worldwide.
